I started far from where these stories are supposed to start: with a Mining Technician degree and months of field work in Salar del Hombre Muerto. None of that sounds like a developer. And yet that's exactly where I learned what I use every day: that a complex system isn't understood by looking at one piece, but at the relationships between all of them. I solve real problems with simple tools. I'm not interested in technology for technology's sake; I care about what changes in someone's life when the product works. I'm a PM because I need to organize. I'm a developer because I need to execute what I organize.
